Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DVM – Doctor Visit Manager (“DVM”, “we”) collects, why we collect it and how it is protected. DVM is used by physiotherapists, their clinic staff, and their patients and family members.

Information we collect

• Account details – name, mobile number (used to sign in), email, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo and, for doctors, optional clinic address, experience and bio.
• Clinical records entered by the clinic – patient details, consultations, diagnosis, treatment plans, visit check-in and check-out times, treatments given, pain scores, measurements, session photos, X-ray or report files, bills and payments.
• Device information – a push-notification token so we can send appointment and app notifications.
• Purchases – for doctors who subscribe, the plan, dates and the store transaction id. Card and bank details are handled by Apple, Google Play or our payment gateway and are never seen or stored by us.

How we use information

• To provide the service: manage patients, visits, treatment plans, bills and reports.
• To show patients and their family members their own treatment records, reports and bills.
• To send service notifications, keep accounts secure and provide support.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera and photo-library access only when you choose to add a picture, for example a patient profile photo, a session photo at check-out, a certificate, or an X-ray or report image. Pictures are uploaded only to the patient’s record you are working on.

Sharing

Records are visible only to the doctor who treats the patient, the clinic staff the doctor has given permission to, and the patient (and linked family members). We use trusted service providers to run DVM – cloud hosting and database, private file storage (Cloudinary), push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and payments (Apple, Google Play, Cashfree) – only for the purpose of providing the service. We disclose information if required by law.

Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, every request is authenticated and limited to the user’s role, and clinical photos and documents are stored privately and opened only through short-lived secure links.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is active. You can delete your account inside the app (Profile → Delete account) or at dvm.relievex.in/legal/delete-account. Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except records a clinic must keep by law, which are kept only as long as required.

Children

Children do not create accounts. A child’s treatment record is created by their physiotherapist and can be viewed by a parent or guardian account linked by the clinic.

Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
